The New York Times Magazine 'Green: The New Red, White, and Blue' illustration 2007
The New York Times Magazine invited 10 artists/designers to create their own 'green' American flag in their own mediums to illustrate the article 'The Power of Green' by Thomas L. Friedman which ran April 15, 2007. The goal was to project America in a green wayÑone that can be the basis of a new progressive ideology and political movement for the 21st century and that can trump or at least redefine more traditional agendas.
